Most search engines do not notice any difference between lowercase and uppercase type and as a result placing the same keyword in both uppercase and lowercase is a waste of time and more importantly it can be seen as spam

Another point to consider is: when people type in words and phrases into a search engine query, they tend to type words very quickly. The quickest way to type in words is not to use any capitalization.
